As part of its Peebles Outdoor Film Festival, I have been asked to talk at the Eastgate Theatre at 13:30 hours on my epic adventure. The talk will be called Magnetic North and will cover the 350 miles I waked to the North Pole. I look forward to seeing you there.
I have just returned from a holiday where I had the joyous opportunity of being able to give a talk about the Magnetic North Pole trip to the guests on the Queen Elizabeth. I got 60 guests hear the talk and then set searching questions about the trip.
It has finally arrived. Tonight I will talk at Peebles Library. Please join us if you can.
Tickets are selling well but a few are still available from Peebles library.
I now have additional reviews making five, five star reviews. This is excellent news. ?????
There are now a couple more five star reviews which have appeared on Amazon Kindle. Both reviews have expressed they are impressed with the trip to the Pole and then subsequently impressed with managing to write a book under the influence of a severe stroke.
I have been invited by Peebles library to give a talk on my book at Peebles library on Tuesday 17th May at 7.00 pm. The talk will focus mainly on my epic trip to the Magnetic North Pole but also on my stroke and being an author.
The first review in Amazon Kindle has appeared. I don’t know who wrote it, but the 5 stars are ecxcellent and the comment is brilliant in it’s accuracy, so thank you.
It reads “A thoroughly interesting read that recalls above all two events in David’s life which demanded courage and determination to meet a great challenge.
Funny informative amd touching this book gives a great insight into how life can change in the blink of an eye.”
Thank you very much and future reviews with 5 stars and book purchases are very welcome.
The hard copy of the book is now available for £15.00 from Amazon Kindle. It tells the incredible story of the North Pole and the subsequent stroke. The book is now available,
